This website is a tourist guide to some of the top attractions for visitors to Barcelona, from my perspective. I visited the city in October, 2009. I had no idea what to expect but here is a list of what I saw and enjoyed.

Barcelona is a bustling Mediterranean city of 4 million. It is the capital of Catalonia, one of the autonomous regions within the kingdom of Spain. The biggest highlight for me was the amazing architecture, with the work of Antoni Gaudi most important by far. Well worth seeing are the Sagrada Familia (right) and La Pedrera, and the Spanish Village. Here are my top six favorite tourist activities...
